Maikel Franco had a solo home run in four at-bats, coming in the ninth inning to provide an insurance run. Scott Kingery was 1-for-4 and scored the first run. Pat Neshek threw a spotless ninth inning for his first save of the season.

Justin Bour and Cameron Maybin were both 1-for-1 with a pair of walks to pace the Miami offense in the defeat. The only other hit came via Derek Dietrich as he provided a pinch-hit double. Wei-Yin Chen suffered the loss as he allowed one earned run on five hits with eight strikeouts and one walk in six innings.
Aaron Nola (12-2, 2.27 ERA) will start today for Philly, while Miami counters with Trevor Richards (2-5, 5.24).
MLB Betting Trends
The under is 16-5-1 in the last 22 Phillies games overall. Philadelphia is 10-3 in its last 13 games overall.
The Marlins are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings. The over is 13-6-1 in the last 20 Miami games on Saturdays.
Philadelphia has played great baseball as of late and has Nola on the mound here. Richards is young and has some promise, but he has been overmatched this season. Don't overthink this and take the Phillies.
