Brewers' Anderson excellent over 6 1/3 vs. Twins
Chase Anderson tossed 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball as the Brewers took down the Twins 3-2. Anderson yielded just three hits and one walk on the day, and the lone run charged to him scored after he was pulled when Jeremy Jeffress allowed an RBI single to the first batter he saw. That meant Anderson settling for a no-decision, but it doesn't diminish how well he pitched. He's now given up only one run in three straight outings and has surrendered a total of just seven hits over that span. Anderson will try to keep it going the next time out in Miami.
Marlins' Urena strikes out six over five shutout innings
Jose Urena surrendered three hits over five scoreless innings Wednesday in the Marlins’ 3-0 win over the Rays. Urena registered six punch-outs and also walked a pair of batters. The right-hander allowed just one extra-base hit, a leadoff double to C.J. Cron in the second inning. This was Urena’s first game back after missing two weeks with a shoulder injury, which would explain why he was limited to just 78 pitches. The 26-year-old has mostly been a disaster this season but has quietly posted a 2.41 ERA over his last three outings. His next start will come Monday against Milwaukee.
MLB Betting Trends
The Brewers have won five straight games against the Marlins.
The Marlins are 8-2 in their last 10 games when they open a new series.

They're 7-19 in Urena's last 26 starts, are 9-26 in his last 35 home outings, and are 1-5 in his last six starts when facing the National League Central. Meanwhile, the Brewers are 7-3 in Anderson's last 10 road starts, are 4-1 in his last five outings versus the National League East, and are 8-1 in his last seven starts when facing a team with a losing record.
