Royals' Duffy roughed up by Indians in last start
Danny Duffy was tagged for six runs in six innings by the Indians on Tuesday. Duffy has been a lot better overall these last six weeks, but a tough schedule has prevented him from lowering his ERA as much as hoped; his last four bad starts have come against the Indians (twice), the Yankees and the Astros. He's still on the right track overall. It's just too bad he never gets to face the Royals lineup.
Twins' Berrios takes loss to Brewers in last outing
Jose Berrios took a loss versus the Brewers on Wednesday, allowing three runs over seven innings of work. The home run ball did Berrios in, as he served up a trio of solo shots and that's all the Brewers ended up needing. Berrios struck out just three in this one after whiffing only two the last time out, which we're not used to seeing from a guy who has punched out a batter per frame this season. He has a nice two-start setup next week with home outings versus the Royals and Rays.
