Machado left the yard for the second consecutive contest, swatting a two-run homer off Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas in the opening frame. It was his lone hit in five at-bats in the four-hour marathon contest. The 26-year-old superstar shortstop has now gone deep a staggering 11 times in 25 games this month. He’s hitting .314 (33-for-105) with 24 runs scored, 29 RBI and one stolen base during that span.
