MLB Betting Trends
Seattle
The Mariners are 9-23 in their last 32 road games. Seattle is 1-10 in its last 11 Saturday games.
Houston
The Astros are 42-19 in their last 61 home games. Houston is 6-0 in the last six Verlander Saturday starts.
Prediction:
Even though the Astros aren't quite at full strength offensively with Carlos Correa still sidelined, they have plenty of lefty mashers and should take advantage of hitting against Kikuchi as he seems to be lacking confidence over the last month. And of course, Verlander is having another gem of a season and the M's will almost certainly struggle to put anything together. Go with the Astros today and strongly consider the runline bet.
