Arizona Diamondbacks Fantasy Spin
Jarrod Dyson went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in the Diamondbacks loss to the Giants on Friday. Dyson collected three hits, including an RBI single off Giants closer Will Smith in the ninth inning. The 34-year-old speedster is hitting .260/.349/.375 with 38 runs scored, a career-high five homers and 18 RBI in 238 plate appearances. He's already swiped 19 bases this season and is on pace to eclipse the 30-steal plateau for the first time since his 2016 campaign in Kansas City. His stolen base prowess makes him a viable mixed-league fantasy outfielder.
San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Buster Posey went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a run scored to lead the Giants to a 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday. It's been a dismal campaign overall for the injury-plagued Posey, but he came through with a clutch three-hit effort in this one. He blasted an RBI double to right field in the third inning and plated an additional run with an opposite-field single in the fifth. The 32-year-old backstop is hitting .241/.304/.369 with three homers and 20 RBI in 214 plate appearances.
