Arizona Diamondbacks Fantasy Spin
Eduardo Escobar gave the D’Backs a lift with three RBI in Wednesday’s win over the Dodgers. Escobar welcomed rookie Tony Gonsolin to the big leagues by swatting a three-run homer in the first inning. He was at it again in the fifth, singling and later scoring on an RBI double by Ildemaro Vargas. Escobar also contributed a stolen base, his third of the year. The 30-year-old Venezuela native is on pace for 123 RBI, which would shatter his career-high of 84 set last season.
San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Pablo Sandoval went 2-for-4 with a double, homer, two RBI and two runs scored in a loss to the Rockies. Sandoval was one of the few effective hitters on Wednesday, and he doubled in a run in the first and crushed a homer in the third off of Rockies starter German Marquez. That gives the switch-hitter 10 homers on the season, and he's doubled 16 times in his 72 games in 2019. Sandoval is now hitting .286 with a .903 OPS on the season, and it's been fun to see the 32-year-old reclaim his form in the first half of 2019.

The Diamondbacks have won four straight meetings with the Giants in San Francisco. They’re also 7-3 in their last 10 road games and have won five of their last seven away from Chase Field when facing an opponent with a losing record. On the other side, the Giants have dropped four of their last five games when facing a left-handed starter and are just 7-17 in their last 24 home games when facing an opponent with a winning road record.
