Houston Astros Fantasy Spin

George Springer (hamstring) is likely to return to the Astros on Tuesday if he makes it through this weekend's rehab games without a setback. He has played one game so far with Double-A Corpus Christi and hit two home runs in that game. He will likely play there again on Saturday and Sunday, rest on Monday and rejoin the Astros' starting lineup on Tuesday barring any setbacks. The outfielder was putting up big-time fantasy stats before hitting the injured list with a hamstring injury he suffered while trying to make a sliding catch on May 24th. After a month-long absence he will return to a .308 batting average with 17 home runs and 43 RBI in 48 games.

New York Yankees Fantasy Spin

Aaron Judge went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in his return from the injured list Friday against the Astros. Judge hit out of the leadoff spot in his first major league game action since April 20. Prior to Friday, Judge has started at every spot in the order other than leadoff. We could see more of him atop the lineup for the Yanks with Aaron Hicks banged up.

MLB Betting Trends

Houston

The Astros are 0-6 in their last six games overall.

New York

The Yankees are 40-17 in their last 57 games overall.

Prediction:

The Astros are now 0-4 in their last four games played at Yankee Stadium and as previously mentioned, are in the midst of a six-game losing streak. The Yankees, meanwhile, are 21-9 in Masahiro Tanaka’s last 30 home starts versus an opponent with a winning record and are 36-16 in his last 52 home starts overall. Given how badly Houston has struggled of late, I’m going to continue to fade them tonight.

Saturday MLB Prediction: New York Yankees -1.5
