Nolan Arenado went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs on Friday afternoon, but it wasn't enough to lead the Cardinals to victory over the Cubs. Arenado delivered a run-scoring single off of Kohl Stewart in the second inning to extend the Cardinals early lead to 2-0. He then added a two-run single in the fifth to make it 5-1, but that would be the extent of their offense in the ballgame. The 30-year-old has been terrific in his first season away from the Rockies, slashing .285/.332/.512 with 11 homers and 43 RBI.
