Max Muncy hit a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Giants. Muncy connected on a Madison Bumgarner offering in the first inning, sending it over the high wall in right field at Oracle Park. Muncy also took a second to admire his work, irking Bumgarner, who, as stated, served up a fat pitch for Muncy to crush in the first place. Muncy finished 2-for-3 in the game and is hitting .278/.374/.514 with 13 homers, 38 RBI and 39 runs scored. His 2018 breakout certainly doesn't appear to have been a mirage.

La Stella took Mariners long man Wade LeBlanc deep in the third inning, his second homer in as many games and his 15th overall. The homer was his only hit in four at-bats. People waiting for the 30-year-old to fall off have continued to wait, and he's actually gotten stronger since the calendar turned to June -- La Stella is hitting .368 (14-for-38) this month to bring his season line to .315/.371/.549. The breakout sure looks legitimate.
