Tampa Bay Rays Fantasy Spin

Travis d'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a three run homer and two runs scored in a 9-2 triumph over the Red Sox in the first game of a double-header on Saturday. He opened up the scoring by unloading on a Josh Smith offering with Ji-Man Choi and Willy Adames aboard in the second inning. D'Arnaud is serving as the backup to Mike Zunino behind the plate for the Rays now. He owns a .189 batting average with three homers and 12 RBI in 83 plate appearances for the Mets, Dodgers and Rays this year.

Boston Red Sox Fantasy Spin

Michael Chavis went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a walk on Saturday in game two of a doubleheader against the Rays. Chavis gave the Red Sox a 2-0 lead with a double to center field that scored two runs in the third inning. He's now driven in 30 runs in just 44 games, and his OPS improves to .804. Chavis has to start making more contact -- 60 strikeouts over 166 at-bats -- but if he can make the necessary adjustments, he has to be an excellent option in 2019 and beyond.
