MLB Betting Trends
Minnesota
The Twins are 48-21 in their last 69 games overall. Minnesota is 4-0 in the last four Odorizzi starts on the road.
Detroit
The Tigers are 17-35 in their last 52 home games. Detroit is 2-5 in the last seven Carpenter home starts.
Prediction:
Odorizzi has been killing it all season and I see no reason why that changes this afternoon. He has been much less prone to the long ball this season and spotting all his pitches well. I don't want to fade a pitcher with this much confidence, especially when going against an opposing pitcher who I have very little stock in in Carpenter. He's pitched better lately, but I think Carpenter will be hit hard today. Going heavy on the Twins.
