Colorado Rockies Fantasy Spin
Ian Desmond doubled twice and knocked in a run against the Cubs on Thursday. Even though Desmond has been hitting very well for about six weeks now, the Rockies haven't been using him as a full-timer of late, which could make things interesting with Charlie Blackmon about to return. Desmond is batting .292 with five homers, two triples, 10 doubles and even 14 walks in his last 111 plate appearances. He probably deserves to play over Raimel Tapia as long as he keeps performing like this.
New York Mets Fantasy Spin
Todd Frazier homered in the bottom of the eighth to help the Mets beat the Giants 7-3 on Thursday. Frazier's homer off Mark Melancon broke a 3-3 tie. It was his third long ball in his last nine games. Frazier would have lost a whole lot of playing time last month if the Mets didn't have so many injuries, but he's recovered from an awful start to hit .324 with 10 walks in 79 plate appearances over his last 20 games.
MLB Betting Trends
Colorado
The Rockies have won six straight when facing a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.
New York

Prediction:
The Rockies are 7-1 in their last eight games versus the Mets and have won four straight at Citi Field. They’re also 4-1 in Antonio Senzatela’s last five starts coming off four days of rest and are 4-1 in his last five outings when facing an opponent with a losing record. Meanwhile, the Mets have dropped eight of deGrom’s last 10 starts and are 8-18 in his last 26 outings at home.
The Pick: Colorado Rockies +163
