Stripling spins shutout

His ERA improved to 1.52. Four relievers threw one inning each to close it out. Joc Pederson connected on a 2-run homer to help pace the LA offense. Yasiel Puig and Cody Bellinger both hit a solo home run. Matt Kemp was 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
Dickerson has two hits in defeat
Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson, who has lost some playing time since the call-up of Austin Meadows, had two of Pittsburgh's seven hits in the loss. All seven hits were singles. Joe Musgrove suffered the loss on the mound as he surrendered four runs (three earned) on six hits with five strikeouts and a walk over five innings. His ERA went up to 1.89 as he took his first loss after winning his first two starts.
Caleb Ferguson will be making his MLB debut for the Dodgers today, while the Pirates will go with Trevor Williams (5-3, 3.84).
MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 8-0 in their last eight road games. The over is 6-2 in the last eight LA Wednesday games.
Pittsburgh
The Pirates are 1-7 in the last eight meetings. Pittsburgh is 2-8 in its last 10 games overall.
Prediction:
The Dodgers are playing great baseball, but I can't trust a rookie making his MLB debut. Williams should be solid enough to keep Pittsburgh in it and the offense should be able to do the rest against the untested Ferguson.
