San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Evan Longoria went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a two-run double in Sunday's win over the Orioles. Longoria struck for a solo home run in the fourth inning and a two-run double in the fifth inning. Both of those hits came against O's starter Gabriel Ynoa. The veteran third baseman had come into the day on an 0-for-18 skid. Overall this season, Longo is hitting .220/.302/.412 with seven home runs, 23 RBI and two steals in 53 games. He still occasionally runs into one for a home run, but his bat has fallen off considerably since his heyday.
New York Mets Fantasy Spin
Wilson Ramos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks. Ramos was the only Mets batter able to do damage against D'backs starter Merrill Kelly, taking the right-hander deep for a solo dinger in the second inning. Ramos also had a single in the game, accounting for two of the Mets' six hits in the loss. The 31-year-old was hitting .241 on May 22 but has started to find his groove at the dish in his last 10 games, going 13-for-34 with four homers to bring his overall line up to .269/.344/.398 with six homers, 32 RBI and 27 runs scored. That's more like the Ramos we expected to see from the season's outset.
