Cleveland Guardians DFS Spin
Cleveland speedster Myles Straw rapped out a pair of hits in the Guardians’ 1-0 loss to the Twins on Friday night. Straw recorded singles in the fifth and ninth innings, ultimately ending the day 2 for 4. Straw has never hit for power and this year is no exception as he’s slashing .233/.315/.294. Straw does have 9 doubles and 10 stolen bases this season and he has an OPS of 1.100 against Minnesota starter Sonny Gray. If you need cheap speed in DFS, Straw could likely help with that.
Minnesota Twins DFS Spin
Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco was the star of Friday night’s 1-0 win over the Guardians. In that contest, Polanco ripped an RBI double to right field in the 7th inning to give Minnesota the only run they would need. For the season Polanco is hitting .279 with 4 homers, 15 RBIs, and a .799 OPS. Polanco is a switch hitter that has a .950 OPS against lefties this year, making him an attractive DFS target against Cleveland southpaw Logan Allen. Polanco will also get the benefit of playing at Target Field where he’s batting .284 compared to .273 on the road.

Guardians vs. Twins Betting Prediction
The Guardians lost the first two games of this series by one run a piece, and I believe they’ll make a comeback on Saturday night. Cleveland is 19-7 in their last 26 games during Game 3 of a series. The Guardians have also owned the Twins of late. Cleveland is 5-2 in their last 7 games against the Twins in Minnesota, and the Guardians are 11-4 in their last 15 games against the Twins. Minnesota has oddly struggled against pitchers who allow baserunners as the Twins are 3-13 in their last 16 games when facing a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30. I think Cleveland starter Logan Allen pitches well and the Guardians win this game outright.
