Red Sox lose fourth straight
The Red Sox lost a fourth straight game on Saturday night in a 5-3 loss to the Yankees. Boston is now 29-29 on the season, 15-17 on the road and 32-24 with the over. The Red Sox have David Price taking the mound today. He is 2-2 on the season with a 2.83 ERA.
The Red Sox had 11 hits on Saturday, but stranded 10 runners in the loss. Rick Porcello struggled on the mound, giving up five runs in 4.2 innings of work. The bullpen then pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless ball, but Boston couldn’t find any runs. Xander Bogaerts had a solo home run for Boston and finished with three hits and two runs. Sandy Leon had three hits and drove in two runs.

MLB Betting Trends
Boston
The Red Sox are 2-8 in their last 10 against winning teams, but they have won Price’s last five Sunday starts.
New York
The Yankees have won eight of their last 10 Game 3’s in a series and 6 of Sabathia’s last 8 starts.
Prediction:
Sabathia isn’t getting deep into games, as he usually levels out around five innings. He has given up multiple runs in five of his last six starts. Price hasn’t allowed an earned run over his last 11.2 innings. The Yankees had to use a lot of arms last night, which could be a problem tonight with Sabathia starting. New York is going to have to either run him long, or go deep into their pen, which I think will be a problem. Boston has a lot of potential on offense, just hasn’t had a lot of breakthrough hits lately. I think Price will keep this game close and then Boston will find the key hits later in the contest.
MLB Prediction: Boston Red Sox -125
