Texas Rangers Fantasy Spin
Hunter Pence went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and an RBI double in the Rangers’ loss to the Angels on Sunday. Pence launched a towering, opposite-field solo shot to right field -- his 11th round-tripper of the season -- off Angels’ starter Andrew Heaney in the fourth inning. He also blooped a broken-bat, RBI double into left field to plate another run in the sixth. The 36-year-old outfielder has enjoyed a true renaissance campaign in Texas, hitting .309/.356/.650 with 27 runs scored and 35 RBI in 135 plate appearances. He's shown no signs of slowing down and needs to be owned in all fantasy formats.
Seattle Mariners Fantasy Spin
Jay Bruce went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in the Mariners' lopsided defeat at the hands of the Athletics on Sunday. Bruce clocked a solo homer to right-center field off Athletics' starter Brett Anderson to break up the potential shut out in the seventh inning. It was his 13th long ball of the year and his first since May 11. The 32-year-old veteran accounted for half of the Mariners' six hits combined in this one.

The Mariners, meanwhile, have dropped 21 of their last 26 games overall and are winless in their last six divisional games. They’re also now just 5-13 in their last 18 games at home.
