Turnbull has pitched quite well for Detroit, giving up just four earned runs over his last five starts. However, he is going to have to be just as strong today, if not better. The Tigers don’t produce runs and they are facing a solid pitcher in Bassitt. Oakland also had a day off yesterday while the Tigers played last night. The quick turnaround isn’t likely to help, even with the game being at home. I think Detroit’s bats will continue to struggle, especially if Cabrera is out once again.
