Tommy Edman singled, walked and swiped two bases Thursday against the Brewers. The walk was notable for being the first given up by Corbin Burnes this year (Burnes had 58 strikeouts at that point). The steals are more notable for fantasy purposes, though. He's 7-for-8 stealing bases this year after going just 2-for-6 in 55 games last year. It's been enough to make him a fine fantasy infielder, even if he's not excelling in any other category.
San Diego Padres DFS Spin
Austin Nola singled twice and scored a run Wednesday in the second game of a doubleheader versus the Rockies. It's the first multi-hit game of the season for Nola, who got a late start due to a fractured left middle finger. Victor Caratini did a fine job filling in for Nola and starred for them during Wednesday's doubleheader. It will likely continue to be a 2/3 split in favor of Nola for now.
Cardinals vs. Padres Betting Prediction
The Cardinals are just 2-6 in their last eight games at Petco Park and are 3-8 in their last 11 games versus the Padres. St. Louis is also 2-5 in its last seven games as a road underdog, while the Padres are 6-1 in their last seven games coming off a loss. San Diego is also 30-14 in its last 44 games as a home favorite.
