Cleveland Indians Fantasy Spin
Roberto Perez hit a three-run home run that gave the Indians a 5-3 win over the Athletics on Sunday. The score was tied 2-2 when Perez stepped to the plate with two on and two outs in the sixth inning. He attacked the first pitch he saw from A's reliever Ryan Buchter, banging it over the left-center field boards for a three-run blast. The homer was the fourth of the year for Perez, who's hitting a pedestrian .220/.301/.390 as the Indians' everyday backstop this year.
Chicago White Sox Fantasy Spin
Yonder Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays. Alonso connected for a two-run home run off Aaron Sanchez with one out in the fourth inning. The dinger was his sixth of the campaign and bumped his RBI total up to 18 for the season. While he had a nice showing on Sunday, the slugger has struggled on the whole this year, slashing just .178/.284/.349 in 129 at-bats.
