Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Michael Brantley was scratched from the Astros starting lineup on Friday due to "health and safety protocols". While no additional information was given, it seems as if Brantley likely came into close contact with someone that tested positive for COVID-19 and the Astros are still awaiting his test result. Expect to hear before Saturday's game whether or not he'll have to go on the COVID-19 IL himself or if he'll be cleared to return to the lineup.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS Spin
Jose Berrios was charged with two runs in seven-plus innings Monday against the Red Sox. Berrios actually got through seven innings scoreless, but the Jays pressed their luck from there. Berrios wound up giving up singles to both batters he faced in a 2-0 game in the eighth, and Adam Cimber allowed the inherited runners to score after taking over, leaving Berrios with a tough no-decision. It was Cimber who wound up with the win after the Jays pulled back ahead in the bottom of the eighth. This makes two strong outings in a row for Berrios, who had a disastrous Opening Day and a weak second start to begin the season.
