Cleveland Indians Fantasy Spin

Shane Bieber was demolished in Sunday's loss to the Braves, allowing seven runs (five earned) on five hits over just 2 1/3 innings. The right-hander punched out three and walked one on the evening. Josh Donaldson was responsible for most of the damage against him, clubbing a solo home run in the first inning and a three-run bomb in the second. Even with this rough outing, Bieber still owns a solid 3.47 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 25/7 K/BB ratio over his 23 1/3 innings on the season. He'll try to put this one behind him and get back on track when he does battle against the Astros in Houston on Saturday.

Houston Astros Fantasy Spin

Brad Peacock allowed three runs over five innings in a loss to the Twins on Monday. Peacock gave up plenty of baserunners in this one, allowing six hits and three walks. He fanned two. This was his first start since April 7, and it’s possible there was some rust to shake off. The Indians are next for Peacock on Sunday, and he should be better in that next outing.

MLB Betting Trends

Cleveland

The Indians are 4-1 in Shane Bieber’s last five starts.

Houston

The Astros are 6-2 in Brad Peacoks’ last eight starts.

Prediction:

The Indians are 4-1 in Bieber’s last five starts and are a perfect 8-0 in his last eight road outings. On the other side, the Astros are just 1-5 in Peacock’s last six home starts when they face an opponent with a winning record. They’re also just 4-15 in Peacock’s last 19 starts when he’s coming off only four days of rest.

The Pick: Cleveland Indians +115
