J.D. Martinez doubled Monday in his return to the Red Sox' lineup. Martinez crushed a 109 mph double to center field off Blue Jays' righty José Berríos in the second inning for his lone hit in four at-bats in Monday's loss in Toronto. The 34-year-old veteran slugger wound up missing four games due to left adductor tightness, but should be fine moving forward. He's hitting .267/.346/.467 with one home run and seven RBI across 52 plate appearances this season.

The Jays won for the fifth time in six games and moved to 11-6 on the season.
