Seattle Mariners Fantasy Spin
Omar Narvaez went 3-for-4 with two walks, a home run, four RBI and three runs scored in the Mariners' 11-10 slugfest win over the Angels on Thursday. Not long before things got really interesting, Narvaez extended the Mariners' lead to seven runs with a three-run jack in the top of the seventh inning. His RBI single in the second inning actually started the scoring, with 20 more runs to follow. The 27-year-old backstop was an interesting player to watch after the trade from the White Sox to the Mariners this winter seemingly opened up everyday at-bats for him, but what he's done with those at-bats few likely saw coming -- after Thursday, Narvaez is hitting .297/.348/.500 with four homers, 11 RBI and 15 runs scored in 17 games. He had 12 homers in 221 career games coming into the year.
Los Angeles Angels Fantasy Spin
Andrelton Simmons finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's loss to the Mariners. Two of Simmons' hits were run-scoring doubles, the first in the third inning before he also chipped an RBI double in the Angels' seven-run seventh. The multi-hit game was his third in a row, and after entering Tuesday's game with a .197 average the 29-year-old is now batting a modest but more attractive .253/.263/.360.
MLB Betting Trends
Seattle

Los Angeles Angels
The over is now 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in L.A.
Prediction:
I whiffed badly on the under last night but I feel like there’s value in the Mariners to win for a second consecutive game in L.A. Narvaez, Mallex Smith, Jay Bruce and Daniel Vogelbach should fare well versus Pena, while the Angels could struggle to generate runs against Gonzales. Seattle’s starter doesn’t strike many batters out but he limits hard contact and keeps the ball on the ground. He’ll benefit from starting tonight in a pitcher’s park.
The Pick: Seattle Mariners -103
