Trout missed a little less than a week after suffering a "minor" right groin strain on Tuesday. The three walks boost his on-base percentage .593 on the season. He's going to be just fine.

Texas Rangers Fantasy Spin

Joey Gallo went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI on Monday in the Rangers' 12-7 victory over the Angels on Monday. Gallo hit his fifth homer of the year with a monster shot off of Trevor Cahill in the third inning. He also doubled for the second time in 2019. To no one's surprise, Gallo isn't hitting for a high average -- the three-hit day raises the mark to .217 -- but the power and walks are there as seen in his .944 OPS. It's tough to complain too much about those numbers, as frustrating as the strikeouts/hits into the shift can be.

The Angels see a massive ballpark boost playing in Arlington instead of Anaheim and they draw a good matchup against Mike Minor, who owns a 38% hard contact rate. Mike Trout kills left-handed pitching, although David Fletcher Andrelton Simmons, Albert Pujols and Jonathan Lucroy could also create plenty of damage. On the other side, the Rangers get a fly-ball pitcher in Jaime Barria. While fly balls sometimes turn into loud outs, fly balls in Arlington usually turn into souvenirs. I love the over.
