Cubs vs. Marlins Tuesday Prediction
The Marlins and Marlins Park proved to be all Yu Darvish needed to right the ship after some struggles to start the season. Will that also be the case tonight for Jose Quintana when the Cubs visit the Marlins again at 7:10 p.m. ET?

Chicago Cubs Fantasy Spin
Willson Contreras went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI as the Cubs beat the Marlins 7-2 on Monday. Contreras has six homers now, which is exactly as many as he had in his final 106 games of last season (from May 13 on). Maybe he'll get banged up, as catchers tend to do, and the production will fall off again, but this is the kind of talent he's always possessed.
Miami Marlins Fantasy Spin
Chad Wallach homered, walked and scored both Marlins runs Monday against the Cubs. It's the second big-league homer for Wallach, who has somehow managed to go 7-for-21 with a 5/5 K/BB ratio to begin the year. The backup catcher had been 9-for-58 with a 28/4 K/BB ratio coming into the season, and he failed to manage a .700 OPS in either of his Triple-A stints. The Marlins will enjoy it while it lasts.
MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The Cubs are a perfect 4-0 in their last four games versus the Marlins.
Miami
The Marlins are 1-8 in Pablo Lopez’s last nine starts.
Prediction:
Pablo Lopez has fared very well against left-handed hitters and given the left-handed-heavy lineup that the Cubs employ, the Marlins’ starter should hold Chicago’s offense in check. On the other side, the Marlins did little to nothing against Darvish, who had been a disaster in the early going. Th Marlins lack offensive firepower and even though Quintana has struggled himself, he should be able to limit the damage that Miami can create.
The Pick: Cubs/Marlins UNDER 7.5
