Detroit Tigers DFS Spin

Javier Baez hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to lead the Tigers to a 3-1 win over the Red Sox on Monday. Ryan Brasier got Baez to swing and miss at a slider to begin the at-bat. He then threw a slider in the dirt for a ball. His remaining four pitches were all fastballs, for some reason, and after Baez fouled off two in a row, he lined up the fourth one and hit it 396 feet. It was his first homer for the Tigers and 150th of his career.

The Tigers, meanwhile, are 3-8 in their last 11 games dating back to last season and are just 1-4 in their last five games coming off a win.
