Oakland A’s Fantasy Spin
Khris Davis supplied two hits Thursday as the A’s rolled to a 7-3 win over Boston. He singled twice and also drew an intentional walk. Davis didn’t score in the victory, but he did drive in a run with a sixth-inning single off Hector Velazquez. Coming off a career-high 48 homers in 2018, the 31-year-old leads the league with five bombs already and continues to be among the majors’ most feared power hitters.
Houston Astros Fantasy Spin
Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles in Wednesday's loss to the Rangers. The Astros got shut out by Mike Minor and two relievers and Altuve was the only one to garner more than one knock. The second baseman hasn't done much yet in the first few games of the season. He has a .222 batting average with one longball and one stolen base in 29 plate appearances. He will pick up the pace soon.
