According to oddsmakers, Luke Donald is the favorite to win the event with 12/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Steve Stricker (14/1) and Adam Scott (16/1).

Donald is the top golfer in the world rankings. He has finished inside the top 20 over his last four tournaments and has three wins on the year. Donald finished second in this event last year.

Stricker won this tournament back in 2009 and was ninth last year. He is currently third in the world rankings and has finished inside the top 25 of his last 12 tournaments, which includes two wins in that span.

Scott won this tournament back in 2003 and finished fifth a year ago. He is eighth in the world rankings and has one win on the year. He is coming off a 67th-place finish last week, which was his worst showing since the U.S. Open.

The 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship is played at TPC of Boston in Norton, Massachusetts and will start on Friday, Sept. 2 and conclude on Monday, Sept. 5
