Watney is 10th in the world rankings and first in the FedEx Cup standings. He has placed in the top 10 in eight events this year. Watney has placed in the top 10 in just one of his last six tournaments. He placed 36th in this event last year.

The 2011 The Barclays is played at Plainfield Country Club in Edison, N.J. and will start on Thursday, Aug. 25 and conclude on Sunday, Aug. 28.
