2011 PGA Championship Third Round Odds To Win – Two Favored

JOHNS CREEK, GA (TheSpread) – Steve Stricker wasn’t able to hold the lead in the 2011 PGA Championship and now two new golfers are favored heading into the third round.

Stricker shot a 4-over 74 on Friday to fall to 3-under for the tournament. He is two shots back of leaders Jason Dufner and Keegan Bradley, who both sit at -5 for the tournament.

According to oddsmakers, Lee Westwood and Adam Scott are the new favorites to win the tournament as each has 8/1 odds. Stricker now has 9/1 odds to win the tournament, while Jim Furyk has 10/1 odds.

Scott is at -2 for the tournament after shooting his second-straight 69 while Westwood is at -1 after shooting a 68 on Friday. Both men are seeking their first major championship.

Furyk is in a tie for third place after shooting a 65 on Friday to get to 4-under for the tournament. Furyk owns one major championship in his career.

The 2011 PGA Championship is played at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia and will continue on Saturday, Aug. 13 and finish on Sunday, Aug. 14.
