2011 U.S. Money List Updated Odds

(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have released updated odds for the 2011 U.S. Money List, where Luke Donald is presently favored.

Oddsmakers have made Donald a 3/1 favorite to win the 2011 U.S. Money List, while Nick Watney has the next best odds at 7/2. Steve Stricker is 9/2, Phil Mickelson is 6/1, K.J. Choi is 9/1 and Matt Kuchar is 14/1. Dustin Johnson (18/1), Jason Day (20/1), Bubba Watson (25/1) and Charl Schwartzel (40/1) round out the top 10 in terms of odds.

Watney is the current 2011 PGA Tour Money Leader at $4,189,233 (15 events/2 victories), while Choi is second on the list with $3,694,242 (16 events/1 victory). Donald is third with $3,628,248 (2 events/1 victory), Sticker is fourth with $3,497,523 (13 events/1 victory) and Mickelson is fifth with $3,186,521 (14 events/1 victory) in earnings.

Kuchar led the money list with $4,910,477 earnings in 2010, while Jim Furyk compiled the most wins with three. Tiger Woods was the top money leader in 2009 with $10,508,163 in earnings and also won the most events with six. Tiger also has the most multiple money list titles at nine, while Jack Nicklaus finished his career with eight.

Of course, who knows when Tiger will take to the links once again. He’s actually currently favored to win the 2012 U.S. Masters at 6/1 odds according to oddsmakers online sports book Bodog, but there’s no guarantee that he’ll return next season. Injuries and uh, personally issues, have derailed his career the last two years.
