According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Matt Kuchar is the favorite this week, as he has 12/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Zach Johnson (14/1) while Adam Scott, Jim Furyk and Jordan Spieth each have 16/1 odds.

Here are some golfers to consider:

Matt Kuchar 12/1

Kuchar is the favorite to win the event and comes in ranking fourth in the world rankings. He has had a great year thus far, earning eight top 10s for the year already, including one win. Add to that that Kuchar finished second in this event last year, and all signs point to him being a strong contender to win this week.

Rickie Fowler 40/1

Fowler has been somewhat streaky this year, missing five cuts while earning three top 5s. Fowler has been in a bit of a cold stretch since the Masters, where he placed fifth, but we think now is his time to snap out of it. He has history of performing well at Colonial, as he finished fifth in this event in 2012. With 40/1 odds, Fowler is a nice play this weekend that could have a big payout.

Live Long Shot

Josh Teater 150/1

Teater isn’t someone that would jump off the page when you look at his year thus far. He has missed eight cuts on the year and doesn’t have a top 10 to his credit. That is a big reason he is ranked 221^st in the world. However, Teater is coming to a course where he has had one of his best showings. He finished seventh in this event last year and we think he can recreate this magic again this weekend and sneak up the leaderboard.
