SAN ANTONIO, TX (ATSCONSULTANTS) – The 2015 Valero Texas Open gets started later today. Here is a look at the golfers we think will come out on top of the leaderboard.

According to the latest oddsmakers, Jordan Spieth is the favorite to win this tournament, as he has 8/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Dustin Johnson (9/1) and Jimmy Walker (20/1). This tournament will take place Thursday-Sunday from AT&T Oaks Course in San Antonio.

Matt Kuchar comes into this event with 22/1 odds. He has been a very consistent player for nearly a year, making the cut in 19 straight events while placing 35^th or better in 15 straight. He finished fourth in this event last year and we feel like he is going to be in contention come Sunday.

Harris English is listed at 33/1 to win and he has been a strong play thus far in 2015, as he has three top 10s with one runner-up finish. As he continues to put on strong performances, it is getting hard to ignore him on the betting lines. Look for English to get to the top of the leaderboard this week.

Daniel Berger is a long shot at 50/1 odds, but like English, he has been strong as of late. He has finished in the top 15 in four of his last six events, including a runner-up finish in the Honda Classic. Look for Berger to make another run at a victory this week.
