Valero Texas Open Odds
SAN ANTONIO, TX (TheSpread) – The 2014 PGA Tour heads south this week for the Valero Texas Open. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson and Zach Johnson are equally favored to win, as the three have 16/1 odds.
Mickelson is fifth in the world rankings entering this event, but his 2014 hasn’t been off to a great start. He has not finished in the top 10 in his last five events and missed a cut in the Honda Classic.
Kuchar is 11th in the world rankings. He has been pretty steady this year, earning three top 10s and a 13th-place finish in six events. He finished 22nd in this tournament a year ago.
Zach Johnson is a two-time winner of this tournament, with his last win coming in 2009. Johnson opened 2014 with a win and then followed that up with a pair of top-10 finishes, but he has finished outside the top 15 in his last four events, including a 43rd-place finish last week. Johnson is currently 10th in the world rankings.
The PGA Valero Texas Open takes place March 27-30 from AT&T Oaks Course. For a look at the odds to win this golf tournament, see below.
