Kuchar defeated Jason Day in Sunday’s semifinal, 4&3, before meeting up with defending champion, Hunter Mahan, in the finals. Kuchar held off Mahan in the final holes to pick up the 2&1 victory.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kuchar had 35/1 odds to win this event, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $3,500.
