2023 Phoenix Open Betting Odds

Jon Rahm is the current favorite at +700, although Rory McIroy isn’t far behind at +800. Scottie Scheffler is +1300, followed by Xander Schauffele at +1400 and Collin Morikawa at +1600. Tony Finau, meanwhile, is +1800, followed by Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, Max Homa and Tom Kim at +2100.

2023 Phoenix Open Betting Predictions

OPTION 1: Rory McIlroy +800

The Northern Irishman is coming off a strong performance in his first start of the 2023 calendar year, winning at the Hero Duabi Desert Classic. He posted a 4-under 68 on the final round and shot 19-under 269 to hold off a headstrong Patrick Reed. McIlroy was at his best in the clutch, closing with a birdie while dealing with a weather-delayed finish on Monday. Dude already looks locked in.

OPTION 2: Xander Schauffele +1400

With a strong all-around game and a never-say-die attitude, Schauffele is sure to be a force to be reckoned with on the greens. He also told the media that he feels healthy ahead of this weekend’s tournament after suffering an injury scare with back trouble at Kapalua. He took on a lighter practice schedule last month and says he otherwise feels good. Schauffele has posted top-20s in all five trips to TPC Scottsdale, which includes back-to-back podium finishes. He’ll be in the mix.

OPTION 3: Scottie Scheffler +1300

The course at TPC Scottsdale is one of the most challenging and exciting layouts on the PGA Tour, and will no doubt test the skills of even the best players in the world. With its fast greens and strategic bunkers, the course demands precision and patience, and the players who can adapt to its demands will have a great chance of success. Enter Scheffler, who broke his maiden at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open and returns one year later as a four-time PGA TOUR winner. He’s currently ranked second in the world behind McIlroy but a strong showing this weekend could have him ranked No. 1 soon enough.
