Reed wins Humana Challenge
LA QUINTA, CA (TheSpread) – Patrick Reed didn’t do much on Sunday, but he didn’t need to to win the PGA Humana Challenge.
Reed posted just a 1-under 71 in the final round, but that was still enough to win by two shots. Reed shot a 63 in each of the first three rounds and ended up at -28 overall for the tournament.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Reed had 80/1 odds to win this event, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $8,000.
Ryan Palmer shot a 9-under 63 on Sunday to finish at -26 for the tournament, which put him second. Zach Johnson had a strong Sunday as well, he shot a -10 62 on the day to finished -25 for the tournament.
