Are the Washington Wizards and host Los Angeles Clippers going to put a lot of points on the scoreboard when they meet this afternoon at 3:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Wizards are a 3-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under sits at 207 points.

Washington enters with a 14-11 overall record and 14-11 ATS after a 109-99 victory at the Suns. Los Angeles is 8-15 overall and 9-14 ATS following a 113-107 home loss to the Timberwolves, its fourth consecutive defeat. The two meetings last season were split 1-1 straight up and 1-1 ATS. The Wizards were paced by Bradley Beal with 34 points, four rebounds and two assists in the win at Phoenix. Markieff Morris contributed 21 points, six rebounds and two steals. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings in Los Angeles. The Clippers are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a winning record.

These two squads seem to like to engage in shootouts whenever they meet. The last time they played in LA last season, the score was 133-124 in favor of Los Angeles. With Beal and Willaims both on a roll right now, they could trade buckets all game long. Washington doesn't have a post presence, which negates the strong defense of DeAndre Jordan. Expect a lot of perimeter shots to fall and both teams to go over 100 points and eclipse the total.
