76ers vs. Thunder Prediction
Will the under cash for bettors when the Thunder host the 76ers as double-digit favorites tonight at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Thunder are now 11-point home favorites versus the visiting 76ers after opening as a 10.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 219 but has been bet down to 218.
After winning back-to-back games versus Dallas and Boston, respectively, Philadelphia lost in Orlando on Monday night, 112-109 in overtime. The 76ers did cover as 6-point underdogs, however, and have now won at the betting window six straight times. Both Robert Covington and Richaun Holmes scored 24 points apiece in the loss.
After winning five consecutive games entering play that night, the Thunder were thoroughly embarrassed by the Warriors 111-95 on Monday. Golden State's defense was too much to overcome early, as Russell Westbrook finished with just 15 points on 4-of-16 shooting from the field. Victor Oladipo led the team with just 17 points.
OUR PREDICTION: The under is a near-perfect 7-1 in the last eight meetings between these two teams and has cashed in seven of the last 10 meetings in Oklahoma City. The under is also 4-1 in the 76ers' last five games playing on one day of rest and is 5-1 in their last six games versus an opponent with a winning record. The under has cashed in five of Philadelphia's last seven road games versus a team with a winning home record as well.
WEDNESDAY NBA PREDICTION: 76ERS/THUNDER UNDER 218
