The Knicks are a lousy 3-7 over their last 10 games but did manage to cover the spread in half of those contests. They're coming off back-to-back losses to the Nets and Clippers, respectively. In their 114-105 defeat in L.A. on Monday, Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis scored 18 points apiece, while Carmelo Anthony scored 16 points. Porzingis also had a team-high 11 boards in the loss.
The Jazz are 6-4 in their last 10 games and 4-4-2 against the number during that span. They've lost three consecutive games, however, including a 107-100 defeat at Indiana on Monday night. The loss came despite Gordon Hayward's team-high 38 points. Rudy Gobert also scored 16 points to go along with a team-high 14 boards.
OUR PREDICTION: Even though the Knicks are struggling, they've been a great play against the Jazz. New York has covered the number in 10 of its last 11 trips to Utah and is 21-6 against the spread in its last 27 games overall versus the Jazz. The Knicks have also been a good bet coming off a loss, covering in five of their last seven games in that situation. The Jazz, meanwhile, are just 5-12 at the betting window in their last 17 games coming off a loss.
