LINE MOVEMENT

Golden State opened as a 14.5-point favorite before the line moved up half a point, while the over-under has decreased half a point after opening at 230.5. If you are betting on the Warriors, the spread can also be found at -14.5 at some books. The total of 230 looks to be the current standard at all books.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Tuesday afternoon, 60 percent of public bets are coming in on the Warriors. Online wager info also shows that 53 percent of bets are being placed on the over.

INJURY TO WATCH

The only player listed on the Nets' injury report is Jeremy Lin, who is out for the year after rupturing his patellar tendon in the season opener. For the Warriors, Steph Curry left the last game with an ankle injury but is expected to play tonight. Jordan Bell is also probable despite a lower back strain.

BETTING STRATEGY

I've probably taken the over in Nets games too much this season as they are only 27-35-2 on over-unders. But they have also hit the over in three straight games and played a couple very high-scoring games lately at Cleveland (129-123 loss) and most recently at the Clippers (123-120 loss). So I'm not going to surrender just yet. Golden State shouldn't have any trouble scoring in this contest, while the Nets' offense has been sparked since D'Angelo Russell was inserted back into the starting lineup for the first time since returning from injury. There should be scoring fireworks tonight and I believe it will go over the 230 total.
