MLB Betting Trends
St. Louis
The Cardinals are 8-1 in their last nine Monday games and 13-3 in their last 16 overall.
Milwaukee
The Brewers have won six straight home games against a right-handed starter and they are 9-1 in Gonzales last 10 home starts.
Prediction:
The Cardinals are on a great stretch right now and they can really create some distance between them and Milwaukee today. Wainwright has been a little shaky as of late, allowing 12 runs over his last 23 innings. He carries a 6.64 ERA on the road over 12 starts and he has a 4.91 ERA against Milwaukee. Gonzales has been on a steady run over the last month. He doesn’t get terribly deep into games, which could be an issue today. However, he does has a 1.80 ERA against the Cardinals this year and Milwaukee has been able to give him good run support at home. Milwaukee needs this win badly, so I will go with the Brew crew at home.
MLB Prediction: Milwaukee Brewers -130
