Atlanta Braves Fantasy Spin
Ronald Acuna drove home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to key a walk-off 3-2 win over the Marlins on Thursday. Adeiny Hechavarria led off the final frame with a double and three batters later it was Acuna who punched a liner into the left-center gap for the game-winner. The single was Acuna's only hit in four chances. He is having a monster season in his second major league campaign, slashing .296/.377/.539 with 36 home runs, 88 RBI, 106 runs and 29 stolen bases. He is being mentioned as a potential challenger to Mike Trout for the number one overall pick in fantasy drafts next year
New York Mets Fantasy Spin
Wilson Ramos went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs during a 2-0 victory over the Indians on Thursday. He punched a double into right field that plated Michael Conforto and Joe Panik in the fourth inning. That was the key blow of the contest as no other runs were scored by either side. The knock extended his hitting streak to 16 games. Ramos started the season off slowly but has rounded into form over the summer. His line for the season is currently .279/.344/.411 with 13 home runs and 63 RBI. This is his 10th major league season and he has never stolen a base.
