Rafael Devers homered twice and drove in five runs in Friday's 6-2 win for the Red Sox over the Yankees. Rafael Devers is having a good year. His homer in the fifth inning was a two-run shot to give the Red Sox a 3-1 lead, and it came off Gerrit Cole. The second homer was a three-run shot in the seventh that extended the lead to 6-1. That give Devers 26 homers, and the 24-year-old continues to pile up the RBI with 79 before the end of July. Devers is a special talent, and those numbers along with a .281/.357/.582 slash make him worthy of MVP consideration.
