Chicago Cubs DFS Spin
Kris Bryant went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a walk against the Giants on Friday. Bryant got the scoring started in this one with a two-run shot to left field off of Scott Kazmir to put the Cubs up 2-0. It was the 13th homer of the season for the 29-year-old former MVP. He's playing at an MVP level once again with a .316/.397/.607 triple-slash line, 13 homers, 38 RBI, and three steals over 224 plate appearances.
San Francisco Giants DFS Spin
Alex Dickerson went 1-for-1 with a three-run homer and two walks in an 8-5 win over the Cubs on Friday. Dickerson drew a walk in the first inning, then hit a three-run homer in the second off of Jake Arrieta. Dickerson crushed it at 109.3 miles per hour over the right-field wall in part of a six-run second inning for San Francisco. He later drew his second walk in the fourth before he was pinch hit for in the sixth as the Cubs brought in a left-hander. Dickerson is slashing .226/.299/.387 with five homers and 21 RBI as part of a strong-side platoon against right-handers for the Giants. Given the limited playing time and lack of overall production, he's best left for NL-only formats.
