Giants vs. Reds MLB Prediction
The Giants will attempt to take three straight from the Reds on Wednesday evening at 6:40 p.m. ET when they send their No. 1 starter to the mound in Kevin Gausman, who will oppose Wade Miley. Will Cincinnati earn its first win of the series or is San Francisco still the better option for bettors?

Brandon Crawford slugged his 10th home run of the season in the Giants' 4-2 defeat of the Reds on Tuesday. It was a seventh-inning solo shot to right off Reds reliever Heath Hembree. Crawford also singled and scored in the top of the fourth inning, finishing the night 2-for-4 with one RBI and two runs scored while improving his overall OPS to .868. Amazingly, the veteran shortstop is the first Giants player to hit 10 home runs across the first 36 games of a season since Barry Bonds in 2007. Pretty good company there.

Joey Votto will have a follow-up X-ray on his left thumb this week. The Reds want to see if Votto's fractured left thumb is healing properly. He reportedly ran the bases and did some light fielding drills without a glove on Tuesday, but his return is still a couple of weeks off, most likely.
Giants vs. Reds Betting Prediction
The Giants have now won five of their last six meetings with the Reds and are 6-2 in their last eight games overall. They’ve also fared well against National League Central opponents, winning five of their last seven games versus the division. On the other side, the Reds are just 3-8 in their last 11 home games, are 3-8 in their last 11 games when listed as an underdog and are 2-7 in their last nine home games when facing a right-handed starter.
