Baltimore Orioles Fantasy Spin
Chris Davis went 1-for-2 with a solo homer in the Orioles’ loss to the Twins on Sunday. Davis launched a 392-foot moonshot to right-center field off Twins starter Kyle Gibson in the seventh inning to break up a potential shutout. It was his third long ball of the season. The Orioles offense managed only four hits combined in the loss and have now dropped nine of their last 12 games dating back to April 16.
Chicago White Sox Fantasy Spin
Welington Castillo went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI to lead the White Sox to a 4-1 win over the Tigers on Sunday. Castillo drilled a two-run double off Tigers starter Matthew Boyd to put the White Sox on the board in the first inning. He also led off the fourth with a single to record his second multi-hit performance in 16 games this season. The catcher position remains a dystopian wasteland for fantasy purposes and Castillo remains one of the better options if you're completely desperate at the position.
MLB Betting Trends
The Orioles are 28-83 in their last 111 road games.
The White Sox have dropped 15 of their last 21 home games.
The Orioles are winless in their last eight games when facing a left-handed starter and are just 61-153 in their last 214 games overall. They have not fared well on the road either, winning just 84 times in their last 112 contests away from Camden Yards. On the other side, the White Sox have won four of their last five games at Guaranteed Rate Field and have won four of their last five games when playing Game 1 of a series.
The Pick: Chicago White Sox -141
