PGA Wyndham Championship Picks
GREENSBORO, NC (ATS Spread) - The PGA Tour heads to the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. for the 2013 Wyndham Championship.
This is following the PGA Championship last week and the last tournament before the FedEx Cup. Last week, Jason Dufner came through at the PGA for his first major. Brandt Snedeker is the favorite and leads a pretty strong field. The course is a 7,100 par 70 and is considered one of the easier courses on the tour. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, both Brandt Snedekerand Webb Simpson opened as co-favorites to win at 14/1.
Simpson won at this course back in 2011. He'll be the highest-ranked player in the FedEx without a win in 2013 in the field. He has 11 top 20's along with four missed cuts. He's from North Carolina and feels comfortable at this course. He's also coming off a strong showing last week at the PGA Championship.
Haas has back-to-back top 25's and a par of top 20's here at Sedgefield. He picked up a win in June at the AT&T National. He is 18th in scoring average and 7th in bogey avoidance.
Longshot:
Clark finished second here last year and T6 back in 2008. He is first in driving accuracy and ninth in 3-putt avoidance. He has the game to win at this course, even if he's not on form.
